Mr. Byrum has written and lectured extensively on workers’ compensation issues to employers, insurance, medical, and legal groups, including the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Superior Court Judges Conference, the North Carolina Industrial Commission’s Annual Education Seminar, and the Continuing Legal Education Program for the Wake Forest University School of Law. Mr. Byrum has mediated over one thousand cases for the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
